The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World have been replaced with a newer list, the New 7 Wonders of the World. The latest wonders include Chichen Itza (Mexico), Christ the Redeemer (Brazil), Machu Picchu (Peru), the Colosseum (Italy), the Taj Mahal (India), the Great Wall of China, and Petra (Jordan).

What is the Most Famous Wonder of the World

The most famous wonder of the world is undoubtedly the Great Pyramid of Giza. This massive structure was built over 4,500 years ago and still stands today as a testament to the engineering skills of the ancient Egyptians. The Great Pyramid is the one largest of all the three pyramids in the Giza complex and the very oldest and largest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
